No space for new corona patients in DHQ Teaching hospital Sahiwal

Sahiwal (Sahiwal News Live – April 9, 2021 – Dr. Saad Ramzan) DHQ Teaching Hospital Sahiwal has filled all the oxygen beds and ICU beds allotted for Coronavirus patients.

There is no room for further admissions. The oxygen beds allotted at the Government haji abdul qayyum hospital sahiwal to accommodate a large number of Corona patients have also been filled.

Therefore, some normal services have been suspended at Government haji abdul qayyum hospital sahiwal and twenty more oxygen beds have been arranged.

The number of patients is much higher than the first two waves and most patients are arriving in a very serious emergency.

The rapid increase in the number of patients suggests that more oxygen beds may be needed for the patients who are being treated.

All you have to do is wear a mask and keep a social distance. Don’t leave the house unless absolutely necessary. If the violation of SOPs continues like this, it will not be possible to provide oxygen and other facilities (high flow oxygen machine and ventilator) to the growing number of patients.

A large number of healthcare workers (doctors, nurses, paramedics, ward workers) have been providing facilities to epidemic patients since March 2020. Follow SOPs to protect them from burnout.
