Teachers protest in Lahore for disparity allowance and regularisation of services

LAHORE (Sahiwal News Live – 24 March 2021 – Arshad Butt) A number of school teachers and AEOs continue their protest in Lahore demanding desparity allowance and unconditional regularization of their services.

“In Federal areas the employees have received desparity allowance whereas CM Punjab is interested in buying a plane for him and ignoring teachers’ demands who are suffering under the shackles of inflation, They said.”

Protesters are aslo demanding unconditional regularisation of Assistant Education Officers (AEOs) and over 12,000 Secondary School Educators (SSEs) across the province. The protesters demand that regularization of their services must not be linked to the Punjab Public Service Commission (PPSC) examination as they passed NTS test.
